On Wednesday 18th January, the 21st Edition of La Nariz de Oro was hold in Valencia, the mythical contest that rewards the sommelier able to distinguish a wine in a black glass, guided only by their sense of smell. The prestigious competition, organized by the magazine Vino + Gastronomía, gathered 55 professionals among the best wine stewards from Valencian Community.
Through their scores, wine professionals chose Silvano Garcia Muscatel between the best sweet wines. Thus, this jewel of Bodegas Silvano García has been qualified for the Final national of the Best Wines of Spain, to be held in June in Madrid. A total of 22 wines were selected and distributed into seven categories (generous, sparkling, white, rosé, red wines aged less than nine months, red wines aged more than nine months and sweet) and two distillates (this time tasted rum).
